Want to know when we launch Stromboli 2026 ?

The dates are set; 10-18 June 2026, tickets will launch soon....

This is where Flow meets Fire — and we mean that literally. You’re training in the shadow of an active volcano. If that’s not a main character for 2026, what is?

We’re not here to collect tricks. We’re here for depth. We blend grounded Taichi principles with high-level prop theory so your body awareness upgrades on a cellular level — the kind where fluidity stops feeling accidental and starts feeling inevitable.

Poi geometry? We go there. Contact Staff precision? Yes. Tech Fans details? Obsessively. And you’re not watching tutorials — you’re being guided by world-class flow artists in an intimate space built for real growth.

This isn’t just a workshop. It’s a system reset. It’s refining your movement while a volcano breathes behind you. It’s syncing your flow with something ancient and untamed. It’s remembering why you started spinning in the first place.

You come for elite training. You stay for Mediterranean sunsets, saltwater swims, unreal island views (zero filter needed), and Italian hospitality that just hits different.

Stop scrolling. Start flowing. Stromboli 2026. Where the vibes are as hot as the lava. 🌋

Why Stromboli?

Stromboli isn’t just another island. It’s Europe’s most active volcano — and it feels alive.

Black volcanic rock, bright flowers, wild nature, deep blue sea. The island sits in this constant balance between destruction and creation. Lava shapes the land, and life grows right on top of it. Being there connects you to something raw, powerful, and ancient.

In 2013, a young and eager poi enthusiast, Vojta, stepped onto this island, drawn by the renowned “Festa del Fuoco di Stromboli.” This legendary fire festival brought together the greatest flow artists of the time, and for Vojta, it was a dream come true. The experience profoundly changed his life, igniting a passion for volcanoes, forging bonds with a new Strombolian family, and inspiring his journey into the flow arts world.

Sadly, this remarkable festival ended after the untimely passing of its founder, August Schuldes. Yet, by returning to Stromboli, we honor his legacy and keep the flame alive.❤️‍🔥

Because once you experience this island, you understand why so many flow artists were drawn here. The volcano never sleeps, the energy is wild but peaceful, and every sunset feels like nature putting on its own fire show.

Stromboli isn’t just where the retreat happens. It’s the reason it exists. 🌋

an active volcano

Stromboli — the fiery giant of the Mediterranean — has been performing its volcanic show for nearly 2,000 years.

Unlike many volcanoes, Stromboli erupts in a surprisingly rhythmic pattern. Small explosions burst from its summit craters at regular intervals, sending glowing lava fragments into the night sky. Scientists even call this behavior “Strombolian activity.” On average, the volcano erupts about every 20 minutes.

What you’ll see are dramatic but relatively small explosions of lava and fire, sometimes accompanied by deep rumbles and drifting smoke. Lava fragments can shoot tens to hundreds of meters into the air, creating a spectacular natural firework display.

One of the highlights of the retreat is hiking up the volcano at sunset, when the sky darkens and the glowing lava becomes even more visible. Later, during our night boat tour, we circle to the other side of the island for another chance to watch eruptions from the water. Nature’s own fire show.

From our safe viewpoints, it feels powerful and wild — yet mesmerizingly contained. Our hike will likely reach a viewpoint around 300 meters.

Close enough to feel the power.
Safe enough to simply enjoy the show. 🌋

ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME

All skill levels are welcome. Whether you’re just starting out or already deep in your flow practice, there will be space for you.
Most workshops offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced variations, and when needed, we’ll split into smaller level groups so everyone can learn at the right pace and get the most out of each session.

a day at Stromboli

TAI CHI / QI GONG 8:30 AM – 9:15 AM
Start the day by reconnecting with your body and breath through moving meditation. Morning Tai Chi or Qi Gong, guided by Rónán or Tom, helps you realign, release tension, and drop into a focused, grounded state before training begins.

POI CLASSES 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Whether you’re just starting your flow journey or already an experienced spinner, these poi sessions are designed for all levels. Beyond learning tricks, the workshops focus on body movement, technique, and developing a deeper sense of flow.

LUNCH 1:00 PM
Enjoy a fresh buffet lunch prepared daily at our training space in Parco Parco, or choose to prepare your own meal.

AFTERNOON WORKSHOPS & ACTIVITIES
Afternoons are dedicated to expanding your flow toolkit — and enjoying the island. Expect workshops in Contact Staff, Staff Spinning, Tech Fans, and other flow arts disciplines.

We’ll also explore Stromboli together: a private boat trip around the island, hikes, sea swims, chill time, and plenty of open space to jam, play, and connect with the community🌋

Afternoon Activities

The afternoons are as diverse as they are exciting, making sure every day feels fresh and inspiring. You’ll explore Stromboli’s stunning trails on scenic hikes, venture around the island on a private boat trip to take in its breathtaking volcanic coastline, and spend time unwinding by the sea — swimming, relaxing in the sun, jamming, and spinning fire by the shore.

And of course, no Stromboli afternoon would be complete without a gelato break and a taste of the island’s sweetest treats.

Afternoons are loosely structured for group activities, while still leaving plenty of freedom to explore on your own or head out with a smaller group and follow whatever adventure calls 🌋

BOAT TRIP AROUND THE ISLAND

No visit to Stromboli is complete without a boat trip around the island. From the sea, you truly see the volcano in all its power.

We’ll snorkel near Strombolicchio, a dramatic rock formation rising out of the water like a satellite orbiting Stromboli’s volcanic planet. Its constant presence on the horizon adds a special kind of magic to the journey.

Our route also takes us to the tiny village of Ginostra, a peaceful corner of the island on its quieter side. As the sun sinks into the sea, we’ll enjoy Italian antipasti and local Strombolian wine, soaking in one of those moments that feels almost unreal. And once night falls, the adventure continues with a fire jam under the stars.

From the boat we’ll also witness one of Stromboli’s most spectacular features: the Sciara del Fuoco, the steep volcanic slope where lava flows toward the sea. After dark, it becomes the perfect place to watch possible eruptions lighting up the night sky.

Our classes cater to everyone—from total newbies to beginners to advanced spinners. While we’ll cover tricks, the focus extends beyond them, so even if you’re new to poi, you’ll benefit from body movement workshops and receive guidance on any moves you’re missing.

Workshops will combine group sessions and individual attention. For certain exercises, we might form small groups based on skill level and interests to ensure personalized learning.

To get the most out of this retreat, it’s helpful to know some basic poi moves, such as 3-beat weaves (forward and backward), windmill, watermill, hip-reels and turns, butterfly (same-time and split-time), and buzzsaw.

If these moves are new to you, don’t worry—we’ll teach you! For those who want to get a head start, check out Vojta’s online tutorials at PoiTutorials.com.

Food is not included with the retreat ticket, though the Private Apartment option offers free breakfast (check the room description for details). We offer the option to add a lunch package. You can also choose to prepare the meals yourself.

The island has a wide variety of restaurants, markets, and food stores to explore. Every apartment is equipped with a kitchen or kitchenette for meal prep.

Breakfast: You can choose from several breakfast options each day at Salvo’s restaurant. No need to reserve in advance—just order when you’re ready.

Lunch Package: A delicious, (warm) lunch buffet will be provided daily for 15 euros per day. The buffet is vegetarian.

Still unsure about the lunch package? We highly recommend it! Our local chefs will prepare fresh, flavorful meals using ingredients from their own garden. Eating at a restaurant won’t save you money, and after a mornig of workshops, you’ll appreciate having a hearty lunch buffet ready and waiting for you. However, if you prefer to cook your own meals and save on food costs, the option to skip the meal plan is available.

Dinner: Each evening, we’ll explore a different dining experience. From ordering pizza on the beach during a fire jam to enjoying a special dinner at “The Osservatorio,” where you can watch the volcanic eruptions while savoring your meal, every night promises a unique culinary adventure.

Absolutely! You don’t need to know anyone to share a room. If you’d like to share, we’ll do our best to match you with other attendees based on your preferences, including room type and whether you’d like to share with the same or a different gender.

Sharing a room is a great way to lower costs and meet new people!

If you’d like to share a room with a friend or partner, there’s no need to purchase all tickets at once.

You can reserve separately and buy your own ticket. Just leave a note when booking that you want to share a room, or send me a message on WhatsApp at +336 3456 0233 to let me know whit who you want to be in the room.
